I need some advice on pumping and breast feeding stuff. I'm pumping ant where between 6 and 8 oz a time every 6 hrs or so...I know I should be doing it way more often but I can't figure out how to work it in.....any advice on this?

@jdgregg, it definitely takes some getting used to. I didn’t have a boppy pillow so I just put him on a regular pillow and would hold his head steady while holding the pump. Massaging my breast as I pumped also helped as well as the lansinoh warm/ice packs. I’d heat it in the microwave to loosen up my milk and it would just flow out so much easier.
@mswedes that is another thing they suggested at the hospital, but I dont have the Coordination to do that lol.
I would pump on the opposite side while my son would nurse or I would pump right after he was done eating to completely empty myself.
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
Breast pump covered by insurance
I've already done what I needed to find out what type of pump I get covered through insurance. It turns out, with my insurance, I can't even get my pump shipped to me until I call them with all the birth details of my baby. So...wth am I supposed to do having a baby and no pump?! I plan to pump exclusively and this REALLY throws a wrench in my plans.

NEED ADVICE ASAP! I AM SICK AND EXCLUSIVELY PUMPING. I PUMPED FOR 10 MINUTES AND ONLY GOT A COUPLE DROPS. IS THIS NORMAL? IS IT OKAY TO CONTINUE PUMPING? WILL MY SUPPLY COME BACK UP AFTER I'M OVER BEING SICK? IF I PUMP, DO I DUMP IT? HELP HELP HELP!!!
Any advice on increasing milk supply that has actually worked for you? I have a feeling im drying up. I'm barely pumping a half an ounce out of both breasts. When I first had her I could pump 5 oz.😕
