Why are people so shocked when I say I’m 28, never married... like do they expect me to be married or divorced by 30??? It’s more annoying than the looks I get when i say “three kids, same dad” lol
I kind of understand.. I'm also 28 and not married, and some people are shocked.. even more shocked when they find out I've been with my bf for over 5 years, now have a child together, and haven't actually gotten married.. Like, why do they feel we have to? Everything's great between us, and we're raising our kiddo fine without that piece of paper :/
Things I never thought I'd say...
Until I became a mom:
I cringe when females say they don't like water and all they drink is soda and juice.... yuck lol
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
Ok when someone says hubby you assume they married right? Am I crazy ?
Perfectly normal to wait to get married. I didn't get married until I was 30. Waiting, and being with that person long enough prior is key. My husband and I have been together 6 years; married 3 this coming April. We decided kids right away because we are in our 30s. We have our heads on our shoulders. I finished my masters degree before our first was born. We don't have a house; but with college loan debt; renting is more feasible until we pay some of it down.
Everyone is different. It's what you two want.
