OK so this is my 2nd pregnancy and its all new to me once again. My 1st born is 6yrs old and I did it all on my own. With this current pregnancy I'm blessed to have my amazing husband by my side 100%
However with my 1st born I didn't breastfeed 😔 and my husband would love for me to breastfeed our baby. But I have no idea what to Expect, do, or anything in general. I know I'm over thinking and freaking out most likely but wanted to get some advise from breastfeeding moms out there. What I for sure need to know, what to get, how to know if my baby is eating well, do I need to be On a special diet, is there a helpful website or app. Idk you name it lol. Like I said I feel new to this and its very overwhelming. 😞😬

Browse la leche league for breastfeeding info. Or kellymom breastfeeding. Watch breastfeeding videos on YouTube. There's nothing super special to know you just have to WANT to do it and the rest will be easy.

Your body is all you need. As long as the baby is producing wet and dirty diapers you're good mama

Start with breastfeeding classes they offer them free through WIC that would be a wonderful start for you, there is also a breastfeeding group I could add you to if you like 😊

Thank you ladies. I actually got my free breast pump the day before thanksgiving that I has ordered from my drs office and we're super excited to try it out once baby is born 😊

You'll do great with breastfeeding. There is a great bond between mother and child when you do breastfeed. I will tell you know. Keep your nipples wet with your own breastmilk and do not try to dry them off. That will make sure to help so they don't dry up on you and hurt.
