So the real reason they took him to the NICU was due to head trauma.
They thought he/I could've damaged his brain or brain tissue with the labor as well as thought there was brain bleeding.
None of that. He's hitting milestones and is such an old soul already. I'm seriously so thankful and proud at what a strong and resilient boy he is.
They are keeping him on antibiotics in case of any infection.
Blood infection was not the main reason he was taken to the NICU
It was because he came out gray and unresponsive/floppy almost brain dead because he has lost oxygen to his brain at some point during all the craziness. (Probably with the cord wrapped around his neck, miconium, all the d-cells, temperature increase, and being sunny side up etc.)
I am so lucky he is alive and doing so well.
Forever grateful for my angel.
Thought I'd let all you mommies know since I feel so close to a lot of you. <3

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

My poor baby! This appeared on his leg about 5 days ago. I instantly thought it was staph infection so I took him to the dr. They said it is probably just a skin infection so they gave him medicine, but this morning it is even bigger! :( it dosnt seem to be bothering him, but he will be 1 in only four days and if it is staph I am going to cancel his birthday party.
Ok so my son just got his first job. He’s also type 1 diabetic. Well last night while working his sensor starts going off his blood sugar dropped to 52. They told him he could deal with it after he got his orders done, which in a way I understand that but at the same time if it drops low enough he can pass out and that won’t be good for anyone!! They wouldn’t even let him just grab some glucose tabs out of his bag. I’m so torn here because I don’t know what’s appropriate and what’s not.
