Jesus gave his life for us. But I understand what you're saying. I pray to God, cry to God, and thank God everyday. He blessed me with this beautiful baby boy.

Plus Jesus would not have existed if it weren't for God

He didn't make the earth or us. I pray to God and thank him for sending Jesus to handle that other stuff for us but I don't pray to Jesus

This is what I think. Jesus begged God while suffering on the cross to save us from our sins. God once flooded the whole world because he saw so much evil and hate. Jesus saw more he saw the good through all the evil. That's why we praise Jesus. But that doesn't mean God shouldn't be praised. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that who so ever believeth in him shall not parish but have ever lasting life. Maybe this helps?? Just my opinion.
