My little cousin was the light of my life before I had my son. He's literally a huge reason why I am still alive today. He's 6 and he'll be meeting my son for the first time today, but I'm really worried about him touching him or even being close to him because my little cousin gets sick very often. It's like he's almost constantly got a cough or a runny nose. I don't want him to not hold him at least once, but I don't want my baby to get sick. 😕

Your baby will be fine. Have him wash his hands really good before holding the baby and let him have 5 minutes of time that won't get baby sick 💖 I have to let everyone hold Harley all the time since she was born lol I have lots of nieces and a nephew

Have him wash his hands and arms up to his elbows and use hand sanitizer after. And just keep baby swaddled in a blanket if he holds him and then switch out the blanket later. Right now your baby is “living off” your immune system for 6 weeks especially because you breast feed so it will be hard for him to get sick. My son was itty bitty and my whole household got the flu and my son never once caught it.
