Does your toddler hit you & what do you do about it?

Every one have different options. I won’t say mine since people might say it abuse or talk shit. Maybe time out?

@erikaloveselijah15, my baby is still small so she don’t do that but what my dad would do with me is. He would tell me don’t hit me again or I’ll hit you back. With my brother he wouldn’t do that not that I have seen but when he went back to live with me and my parents they got into an argument and my brother told my dad if he wanted to fight? That they should take it outside. Never in my life have I told that to my father. They can grow up thinking it’s ok. Every kid is different so you have to try different things. Maybe hit her hand and tell her no like @mommyirene, said.

@erikaloveselijah15, now in days people think it’s abuse but it’s not. They can grow up thinking it ok to hit you. If you don’t do something about it. Just like if you give a kid a phone they will want it and not want to go outside. It’s ok to let them use it for an hour but then tell them to play something else or go outside or else they will want to only be on that phone. Or whatever you give them. My SO son is like that.

@myblueroselove, exactly. I don’t want my son to think it’s okay. Today I tried the timeout in a high chair until his tantrum went away & was fine again. I’m so glad I don’t have to spankings him anymore I hated doing it.
