My dad told me that when this child is born that cps will be involved because neither me nor my husband works. Is that true??

Definitely in accurate. If the child isn't being abused or neglected, they can't do anything. They can be called though

I know there's couple here in Alabama who got their baby taken away bc they refused to give him shots & a birth certificate. Its been on the news and trying to get FBI involved. Its crazy.

I don't think that is accurate, I know sometimes when a child is born they do a home visit.

No it's not true. CPS can't get involved just because a child's parents aren't working. There are many people who don't have jobs but have kids and are most likely getting help from the government. The only time CPS gets involved is when someone thinks a child is in an unsafe environment and not being taken care of properly. If someone were to call then a person from CPS will stop by but if they see nothing to be concerned about then you'll be fine.
