Anyone else give motrin instead of Tylenol for fever ?????? Doc always says Tylenol but my nearest store only have Motrin..... It seems to work the same cus baby boy was burning in fever at 3am and it's down now

Fevers Do you give your kids Tylenol or Motrin every time they have a fever or only if they are being bothered by it? My DD has a fever of 100.6 but you'd never know, she's playing and acting completely normal. She's 3.
Well been at the Er with Riley for 6 yrs n they haven't done shit. His fever is 103.6 AFTER Tylenol/motrin
Poor princess has a fever of 102. Doctor said go home & just give Tylenol & Motrin. Shell get over it.

@littleonemorning okay got it yeah Tylenol said every four hrs. And Motrin says every six. So I'm guessing it is stronger too lol

@anqelyg, yeah I think doctors just say Tylenol because basically everyone has it, but I told mine I have Motrin and they said it was fine because it’s the same thing lol you just have to watch the doseage and the time frame like always
