@janine724, no I️ go to the school at night. I’m going one night a week for 3 months. Then I’ll be certified. I just finished my medical terminology class and it took two months i went 2 times a week

@amaperalta03 did you take all your classes online? & how long did it take you to get certified?

@janine724, go for it. I’m currently getting certified to be a phlebotomist right now. And i just got a job at the hospital so i hope once I’m full time I’ll go do some clinical classes cause they pay for it

@amaperalta03 Im not sure what I wanna study... I know I wanna finish my associates in human services since Im 1 class away from that & I was thinking about nursing

@janine724, i truly understand you probably feel like you need to stimulate your brain more and that’s not happening when you’re home. I completely understand. I’m currently in school now and when i started omg i was so happy to finally be using my brain lol. I swear i always look forward to class now

@amaperalta03 see I was a young single struggling mom with my 1st & I stayed home with her on all types of public help & I hated it because I wanted to provide for her so when she started school I went back to school so I could have a career to provide for us both. And altho I'm in a ok relationship with my bf who is the father of my youngest 2 kids & we are not struggling or anything I just feel like I've taken steps back being at home caring for my son when I worked so hard to get where I was at.

@janine724, see everyone has their own reasoning and own life’s. I worked after my first but been home since i got pregnant with my second. And now I’m finally going back to work. I’m honestly dreading being away from my kids cause I’m a control freak when it comes to them but i know in the long run they will be proud mommy went and followed her dreams and achieved them

To eat their own. But going from a working mom to a stay at home mom I know its not for me. If I could return to work I would in a heartbeat but my son has medical problems that prevents him from attending daycare.

The way I see it is if you can stay home AND want to, then stay home. You want to work and can make schedules mesh, go for it. It doesn't make sense to judge people for doing something different than you do/would.

I don't get it either @amaperalta03 , I am a stay at home mom and I don't get the problem, I envy working mom's

Honestly, if it comes from another Mom, the chances are that they’re jealous they don’t get the privilege and opportunity to stay home.
