Maybe she's over naps? My son went from two to one nap months ago, and now some days he doesn't nap at all.

It could be a sleep regression!

Dean does this from time to time, sometimes when it’s bad I’ll put on a movie for him on the iPad and leave it on the dresser, it usually calms him down enough to get to sleep. But I’ve learned that half the time, he wants a reaction, so if it’s really bad, I pick him up, we read a book, cuddle and then he goes back down. Once I close the door, he cries for maybe a couple minutes and then he’s out.

@nomli, she’s definitely over her 3pm nap! She’ll take a nap around this time but does this now. My mom said I should tie the blanket to the crib lol

@j.andtaysmama, hahaha, I tried that! He'd get so mad that he couldn't move the blanket.

@littleonemorning, she does look at the door as she’s throwing it out ... lol (nest cam) and will watch the door standing there crying waiting for me😒 hopefully it’s just a regression

Hahahahaha. Aww. At this point for naps he gets two blankets, his teddy, whatever other stuffed animal I can toss in there. Usually all but the teddy get tossed out. The other day he did wind up sleeping on top of this giant zebra though. (He's in there now and not crying, either, so hopefully they're boih) out.

@j.andtaysmama, since she’s watching the door, I would say she knows your going to come in at some point. I know what worked with Dean was a ten minute rule (or whatever you are comfortable with) if he doesn’t calm himself down in that time I go and get him and then we start all over. It really just depends. We’ve now gotten to the point that he only cries if he sees daddy lol
