This is total TMI but ladies, if you're having a cesarean-POOP BEFOREHAND!! I did not, they moved my intestines to get baby out which is standard but I think it practically compressed everything that was already in there. They gave me so many stool softeners while I was in the hospital I thought this first poo would be a breeze. My poo this morning was literally larger in diameter than my son's head (he's only 5lbs but still) Literally it's still sitting in the toilet cause it's too large for the hole and I'm considering going and breaking it up with a stick or something. I was ugly crying getting off the toilet. Don't let this happen to you, try to poo before your cesarean. Side note- i already have to poop again and am TERRIFIED. Was not emotionally ready for this part of my recovery
