It's an actual scientific fact that as mothers we are designed to not be annoyed when our children cry or something but if it's someone else's we become annoyed.

I️ can’t stand other people’s kids especially when they cry I️ want to strangle myself but when my boy cries I’m not like that at all. I️ was also scared I️ would be.
