Why is it so difficult to get help for your mental health?
I'm just in a bad place mentally and emotionally, I can barely make it through the things I need to do in a day. Searching for local resources to get counseling without going into debt, and there's a whole list of steps you have to take to even get setup in the first place, and then who knows how long you actually have to wait to get an appointment...

@believeinbuddha I'm really looking for marriage counseling, and so far I only know of a local resource that bases fees on income.
I'm sure I could find free counseling through churches, but I don't feel like hearing "Pray about it, put god first in your marriage, blahblahblah."
I just found out that the women's shelter for domestic violence can help me with resources I need like free counseling. So I'm looking into that now.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

@joanna.davis I feel that. I want to get into marriage counseling too. There is a place called the Center for Human Services that provides counseling on a sliding scale fee. If your income qualifies.
