Pumped 4 oz’s early, pumped about 2.5 oz’s right now.. please milk supply stay 😭😭

@mommysbabies, I’m pumping right now to take a break from breastfeeding because she’s not exactly breastfeeding, she’s nipple feeding because the LC and I can’t get her to properly latch..

@caityyy_lynnn, ahh gotcha do you massage them while you pump also warm compress helps and if need be power pump which is pump 20 min rest for ten then pump for ten then rest for ten then pump for ten once every day at the same time and you should see an increase but I wouldn’t sweat it baby’s belly is still tiny my almost four month old only eats three ozs a feeding

@mommysbabies, she seems to want more than 2 oz’s.. unfortunately my sleep schedule is so messed up so I don’t know when I could power pump like that..

I set an alarm every day I do mine at 9 pm because kids are in bed but it will get better also pump only takes out something like 60% so you do have more in there

@mommysbabies, I always feel like I have nothing in there..

Have you tried a nipple shield? That can possibly help her pull out the nipple into position to get a good Latch. It saved my breastfeeding journey.

@sunflowerchildmamaa, yes, that’s what I’ve been using. It’s mostly her top lip, it curls inwards causing her to suck straight on my nipple

@caityyy_lynnn, my daughters use to do that too. It took I'd say about two weeks for her to get the hang of it. I would try opening her mouth leading with the bottom lip and helping her latch the top by adjusting it with my finger.

You probably have stuff in there
