Y'all my blood is boiling... so I made a post yesterday about women smoking while pregnant, because…

This is my pet peeve. I just can't stand women who can't quit smoking cigarettes. I smoked a pack a day until I got a positive pregnancy test with my first child. I quit THAT DAY. and haven't smoked since. that was nearly 7 years ago.

PLUS smoking is such a waste of money. All they're doing is lining the pockets of rich tobacco executives.

My cousin smoked while she was pregnant and I told her the risks. She told me “my doc said if I quit now it can put stress on the baby”. I mean I can see that, but dude you can slowly quit that doesn’t mean you should keep smoking your normal amount

I was a smoker before my pregnancy too. When I realized I was pregnant i quit. I never touched cigarettes anymore I would not be able to live with the thought of my baby get harmed. It's not hard. Everybody can do it, it's just in your head! After you delivered and you're finished with breastfeeding, do whatever you want. Smoke, drink... but without harming another live. 🖒

I quit cold turkey. My doctor thought it was best. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My mom smoked all thro her pregnancy with me an i waa a healthy 6 pounds 9oz 18inches long

She still smokes to this day i never smoked a real cigarette but i do vape at times

I'm not trying to start a shit storm but.......... I had smoked with all 4 of my pregnancies and my smallest kids was born at 8 lbs and they were all full 40 weeks and are all extremely smart with no deformities.......... but it is a bit annoying how judgemental you are being you don't know the other persons situation. You are just being rude about it. Some people smoke cigarettes, some smoke pot, some drink and some sweets to cope with different things. But it just annoys the hell out of me when people are so judgemental😒

Well everyone has different opinions, but in MY opinion, as soon as a positive comes up on a test, the risks ARE NOT WORTH IT!!!! I understand that the risks aren't promises, but they are risks and they are not worth the health of a child! Turns my stomach! @jasthorpe413, @ericawilliams24,

This particular person who this post is about ALSO lets her child that she already has run around in high waters and shirts that are a size or two too small. That's a whole other subject though.. if you can't afford to clothe your child that you already have, the WHY are you buying cigarettes, or better yet, why are you buying cigarettes while pregnant with the 2nd you won't be able to clothe??? Like I said, that's another topic but still as frustrating..

I feel like every time I would go to light a cigarette up I would get a gut wrenching feeling. I wouldn't be able to do it and not feel like crap about it or myself. @lynleesmom115 EXACTLY! Hell, I was a 2 pack a day smoker before I got pregnant each time. I peed on a stick and threw the pack away. All they are saying is that their children will always come second to their addiction. It's these same people always bitching about money problems and having to go without.
