Has anyone ever either got pregnant on nexplanon or had a miscarriage on the nexplanon birth control implant?

I’m currently pregnant on the nexplanon

@mommy.of.two . I've been bleeding for the past 3 weeks, I called my Dr and she said that if I have to change a pad every hour then to go to the hospital cause it could mean am ectopic pregnancy. Well the other day when I went to the bathroom I had a big blood clot and the bleeding still hasn't went away, but its not enough at once to change a pad every hour. I've also heard about people having miscarriages while on the nexplanon birth control. I've had a miscarriage before my son came along. I also have sharp cramping pain that will come and go

@jennyleighjamey17, with the nexplanon if u get pregnant usually it does end up being ectopic and that situation occur. If I was you I’d go to the hospital anyway just to know if u suffered a miscarriage. Not many ppl (less than 1%) have a healthy pregnancy while on it. However it’s lost in my body I’ll never refer this to anyone 😩

@mommy.of.two me either, I hate it! I was told to get it removed next month on the 28th. But if I'm having a miscarriage I'm done with this thing. I hate it.

@jennyleighjamey17, yea it sounds like u could be having one. I hate it so much! I’m literally almost 34 weeks pregnant and they’re still trying to find it

@jennyleighjamey17 I just went through that my bleeding ended up lasting for almost two freaking months!! I don't know what the deal was but I want it out!!

@allismith082915 yeah I'm making an appointment Monday to figure this out. Since I've had a miscarriage before, it kinda reminded me of it when I started cramping like sharp pains, and when I passed the blood clot.

@jennyleighjamey17 I've had 3 miscariages and I thought the same thing but I was told the same thing you were. I was passing clots everyday and cramping bad everyday. I wish I had the money to go to my doctor and see what's going on. Will you post an update on what the doctor tells you?

@allismith082915 same here. You could take a pregnancy test and see if there's any hcg.

@allismith082915 I thought about it just a little bit ago, I just don't know if it'd be the same since we're on the birth control. I never would've expected to have to go through this on birth control but anything is possible I guess. It just really sucks cause I would love to have another baby

@jennyleighjamey17 I know! It's birth control its suppose to keep you from getting pregnant not make you misscarry. I really hate this birth control and I thought it was gonna be good. I honestly hope it's something other than a misscariage. Something that can be fixed or treated 😞

@allismith082915 I do too. But the only thing I can think of is either an ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage.
