Is breast feeding better than formula is for asthmatic babies ?
@tholliswilliams if it is true wheezing I would take her to children's er or her pediatrician.
@beemommyof3 yes. They said she is fine but even my mom who is a nurse said she is wheezing. She was born exactly at 38 weeks
@tholliswilliams, and if they do, ask for a referral to see a asthma doctor.
@kkmamax3 Gotcha. Hopefully they don't take it lightly
@beemommyof3 she wheezes heavily after eating. I've tried feeding her both ways and no change so now I'm just trying to figure out how to reduce it so I can be less paranoid
It could. Just being close and skin to skin with you could help her breathing.
Dairy milk can cause heavy mucous . I had to take my son off dairy because it caused him issues
@kambam so ...itll adjust to her breathing or ?? The other way around? 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
@beemommyof3 @kkmamax3 @vanes_ yeah I hear what yall are saying but my daughter has breathing problems and I'm not sure if it's the milk that is making it worse or what . Just iffy
The interesting thing about nursing breastmilk is that it changes for babies needs. When baby is sick, teething, etc.
Breastfeeding is better for all babies. Especially nicu babies or under developed children. Fed is required but not always the best thing. 😁
Most likely it isnt asthma. They cant diagnose her that young but she may have issues from being early term
