Is anyone else working a part time job that doesn’t give paid maternity leave since it’s only part time? If so advice would be great because I’m currently stressing/worrying about what I’m going to do because I’m in this situation I mean I obviously plan on saving as much money as I can for the baby as well as try to save all my sick hours but I just want to be able to have the right maternity leave while not worrying or being screwed with money 😔 I just started this job about a month ago after not having a job for two months with no money saved yet and so far I really like my job and everyone I work with so I really don’t want to have to leave and I’m also a full time college student so I wouldn’t be able to handle a second job and idk if the second job would even last once they find out I am pregnant. HELP

@mycutiebabyboyyyyy, he is and he is going to help but he also goes to college full time, he works a full time job but even with his help I don’t think I’ll be able to take as long as I want off for maternity leave I would want 2-3 months like normal maternity leave but I am going to talk to my boss and see what my options are because I’m not sure if they’ll even let me keep my job when I leave for maternity leave I’m only 3 months along but I want to be prepared

Mass laws suck for maternity leave mi even if you work part time they have to pay so I’m told

No, I stay at home now with both kids. Even if I did find another job I would not make enough to pay for daycare. My husband works 2 jobs and i watch the kids
