Has anyone tried nipple simulation to get things rolling? Im 39 weeks pregnant, 3 cms dilated, 80% effaced ad he is at a -1 station. Im tired of all these braxton hicks that arent consistant and strong! Im getting my membranes swept on monday anyways, so i thought might as well try to make some progress myself!

@kaylaberg7777, well don't go to the hospital that's really the only way to avoid it. I didn't go until after I labor 5 hours at home and when I got there I refused all paperwork so there was nothing they could do bc I wouldn't initial for care. But they had to keep me bc baby was literally right there. It was a pain bc didn't wanna hear all the excuses they gave and people coming to my room but at the end of it all I got my way and never had anything this baby won't b born at a hospital bc they literally did nothing for me but catchy son
@txyogagirl Last pregnancy, My contractions werent consistant or strong, so I was put on pitocin. I want to avoid that again!
It really helped me but not until active labor like I would pinch twist tugg whatever on my nipple during contractions to keep things moving I was only 1cm when I was doing it and I noticed a big difference @kaylaberg7777,

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

IUI Monday!!
So today I went in for my routine bloodwork and ultrasound, and found out that I have three follicles at 17mm! Plus another two at 15mm. When leaving the clinic my FS said to take another dose of gonal-f and come back tomorrow to check to see how big they got and that we would do the iui on Wednesday. Well, after getting home, taking my gonal-f and going out to shovel snow (lol) I get a call saying that I am SURGING!!! I haven't ovulated on my own, or even come close to it in years...
My water broke on its own and after 24 hours they need to induce labor because infection chances increase. But I plan on staying home as long as I can, then Im going to a birthing center that doesnt offer any medications!
