If your BD willingly gives you sole custody do the courts automatically give it to you??

@eaj8290 we have yet to talk about it. He's been more open to my sister than he is with me. He told her he'd give me sole custody if I move out. Just wanting to know it's guaranteed cause I don't want to lose my daughter.

Nothing is guaranteed til it's filed in court.

He could tell you that, you move and him still take you for full custody. Learned that lesson.

That's exactly what I'm worried about tbh. Idk why anyone would willingly give up their kid so it's hard to believe.
