My little guy won’t do much tummy time on the floor but when he does, he’ll kind of inchworm himself. He can’t lift his head very high or push himself up quite yet but he’ll kick his legs and such. Is that something to expect? Pic of my little man!

He’s perfectly fine laying on me but as soon as he touches that floor he starts to cry and it gets worse and he’s fine when I pick him up again

My son wailed so much during tummy time at first. For like two months. He hated it. Eventually he figured out how to hold his head up and then he was more okay with it. I'd put him on the bed and sit on the floor in front of him. He liked having a view during tummy time.

@mommaofjais, I’m trying. Is it ok for him to cry?

@momma81417, my son was the same way. He just now is happy during tummy time since he can roll both ways. Still, try to encourage tummy time on the floor. Get down there with him. That might help him. He may miss you!

He seems to do better lifting his head and such when laying against me rather than the floor?
