So I️ need advice moms:
My son is 2 months old when he was born he was on Similac he choked on his milk an has really bad reflux so a nurse told me he was lactose so I️ started fully breastfeeding he did fine about 3 weeks after that I️ started him on Gerber Good Start Soy he did good on that but now he is having hard stools one day then diarrhea the next I️ don’t think he is even lactose should I️ put him back on Similac?
@lanaiacharleston1998, oh no poor baby. I would just breastfeed him and pay attention to what you eat. If you eat something and it happens then you’ll know not to eat it. Sounds like he may need to be on a sensitive formula not necessarily a soy formula but definitely ask your pediatrician first. I hope he feels better soon my son had problems when he was little too it was hell trying to find a formula he could use 😓
@noahs.mommy, Yes my mother saw it an told me what it was also when he does it you can hear it coming out as if an adult was to have it, it’s so much it runs out his diaper sometimes
@lanaiacharleston1998, are you sure it’s diarrhea? Because it’s completely normal for babies to have soft/runny poop that little. My son did until he got older and he still has soft poop every now and then like he did as a newborn
Yeah with breast feeding what your eating can cause him diarrhea. I don’t want to suggest any formulas in particular because all babies are different and require different formulas. Maybe just leave him on what he’s on now though until you see pediatrician that way your not changing his formula back and forth.
If you choose to try either isomil(pink) or alementum(purple) both concentrated
He did good on breastfeeding for a week and got bad diarrhea as well I️ stopped breastfeeding because I️ have to go back in surgery because of complications from my c section an I’m On 3 different pain medications
@lanaiacharleston1998, how did he do on breast milk? Maybe you should try and stick with breast feeding until you find a new pediatrician.
I wouldn’t switch him unless a doctor says can you just breastfeed until
@mamabree92, She said the milk that he is on right now has a female hormone in it an I️ need to take him off but dune then I’ve moved and currently looking for a good pediatrician in my area
He could be constipated because of his milk changing. I’d ask his pediatrician to get better advice though.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
