Having contractions tonight. But they aren't severely painful! Although my contractions timer is saying go to hosoital.. And my discharge has changed!! Very uncomfortable. And i can defiantly tell baby had dropped drastically. Im so uncomfortable tonight! Has anyone experienced this before? And will my doctor check me for dilation even though im gonna have a c section?

@one.tired.momma wow!! I went into labor with my daughter but still had a c section! The pain was terrible and hopefully im dilating because i have been having contractions on and off for the last few months plus braxton hicks.. Which is never any fun
I was in labor my entire 4 hour shift, lol. My first child was induced because he never dropped, then they took him via csection, so I never knew what actual contractions/labor pains felt like.
@allycm, I didn't realize I was really in labor until after work. I just know when I would sit down, it felt like the baby was being pushed back up, lol.
I would think they would check, just to make sure that a csection is still the way to go. Can't do a csection if the baby's already coming naturally.
@one.tired.momma i would like to know of im going to go through labor anytime soon cause i am just getting the feeling that its coming soon

@shaniiced okay the pain stayed the same and eventually went away. It was on and off for three hours last night.
I was checked for dilation even though I was scheduled for a csection.
I was having mild contractions every 3-4 minutes, so I went in to be checked. My water never broke, but I figured better safe than sorry. I was dilated to a one. They tried twice to stop the contractions but it didn't work. Had a baby via csection 4 1/2 hours later.
I think it’s if it 5 min apart lasting a minute for an hour is when you go in also the pain should be getting worse not staying the same

Saturday at 1AM, lost my mucus plug/bloody show, and I was freaking out! A couple of hours later I had cramping, but felt like BH just a little stronger. They came and went, but felt stronger with each hour. Didn't sleep that whole night! I called the midwife at my hospital and told her I lost it and was having really bad cramping and she told me I was fine and was prob just having BH contractions.
