Watching TLC’s Unexpected... 😱 This reallyyyy makes me like I have my life together.
This lady is 31, her daughter is 15 and pregnant. She’s going to be a GRANDMA at 31! My husband is 31, and our daughter is two and a half.
I seriously can’t fathom this....
Hats off to all the teen moms. You’re all amazing. I sure and hell couldn’t do it. 🙌🏼

@jayraemama, my great grandma is 100, my grandma is 80, my mom is 50, I’m 28, and my daughter is two: that’s 5 generations. I bet they may even see 6 generations!! 😱

@adamsgurl, right? I’m like, “nope. Couldn’t do it.”. Having a solid family would really help. I don’t know..Teen moms are so strong!

I had my first at 15, definitely wasn’t easy but being a mom never is. I sure did grow up a lot faster than girls my age of course. Even til this day I can’t seem to click as much with girls my age because I matured much quicker. Also, not all teen moms handle it as they should. I think I️ did a great job to be a single mom at that! I know woman my age just having kids who still don’t have their shit together. A lot of them even still living with parents. So like I think for me it really just pushed me to grow up faster.

@mamabree92, definitely! Becoming a parent no matter what is a wake up call. I respect the hell out of you, though! I just imagine what I would have been like if I had been pregnant at 15/16 and just don’t think I’d be able to provide like I can now for my child. It’s the hardest job in the world.

@jennatess, yes providing was definitely hard. I had to get assistance from government even while I was working. One income just wasn’t enough. It definitely made me a great mom in the long run though and definitely was a challenge.

@jennatess, I had my son at 18 but I got pregnant at 17. It was and is so hard, I couldn’t imagine being any younger!
