@purpledpink, see once they have been soanked and know that they are in trouble and that it kinda hurts they are more likely to respond to it! Without you even having to do it. Just saying you will scares them enough to behave 😂

Funny you say that! My youngest son was in the hospital and I had my oldest with me. My oldest was acting like a typical bored 4 year old and just bouncing around, interrupting the docs, like intentionally getting in the way for attention. I told him nicely several times to calm down and sit down until the doctors were able to finish what they were doing, and then him and I could talk/play a game/do anything he wanted.... he kept acting up, so I looked at him and said “boy, if you don’t sit in that chair and shit your mouth for 5 min, I will take you in the bathroom and whoop your butt.” I then looked up at the doctor and was like, oops, sorry, hopefully you don’t take that the “wrong way.” The doctors looked up and laughed and said, absolutely not ma’am, we wish there were more like you! I’ll tell you my son was an angel the rest of the time there, even got to go on a little tour with the nurses... it’s sad that ya as parents have to be worried about the way we parent our kids! People are so quick to judge, if half of them took a step back they would realize that a) my child is FARRRRRRRRRR from abused or mistreated... shoot I wish I had his life 😂 and b) much better behaved and more respectful than most kids his age.

@vamommy89, oh girl trust me I know there is a huge difference and when I see or hear about someone pooping their kid more than 3 times on the butt and it looks a lot harder than it needs to be my happy ass had no shame in saying something. But some people think a spanking on the butt is abuse. Like ... no... lol my dad had anger issues when I was about 12 (still does but is on medicine now to help) and he got so mad at me one time (which I mean I deserved to be punished but not the way he did) he grabbed a belt and started whipping me all over my body full force arm all the way back and everything. I had bruises all over me. He accidentally let go of part of the belt and the metal part came and hit my thigh and drew blood that’s when he stopped... after he got help he only ever used his hands. I don’t like when people use anything other than their hands to spank because of what I went through. But I mean I still think spanking is fine as long as it’s being done for good reason and not taken out of hand! Lol

People often think spanking is abuse but you can call any Dhs and they will tell you it's not. I put my kids in time out but I have also at times spanked them for (hurting one another intentionally, hurting someone else, ect).

I don't ever remember getting spanked but if the kid doesn't listen to you, you obviously need that as an alternative. I am 100% for it if needed. Your kid needs to know who is the adult and who is the child.
