So I was wondering... my mom takes care of my son and my friends baby. My son is 4 months and my friends is 6 months. But my friends baby is a historical crier that can cry all day if he needed too. Every time he wakes up from a nap he starts screaming crying. My son is the complete opposite he wakes up happy doesn’t cry unless he’s super hungry & overall a happy baby. This past week I’ve been noticing that my baby has been crying every time he wakes up at night which he never used to do before. He also gets scared a lot in his sleep & keeps jumping from any noice. Could this be because my friends baby cries when my baby is sleeping? Or is he just going through a stage?

It could be the 4 month sleep regression. But if it continues, definitely look into how his day goes

@tiinii, that’s how my baby would be. He would sleep through his cries & ignores him for the most part. So hopefully this little stage doesn’t last long for him.

@mommyofljc17 I didn't know about it either lol but it did go away(: my son used to wake up 12 times a night during that time and cried each time. Definitely read up on it, I highly recommend trying to get him on a schedule because you'll regret it if you don't

@pierced_momma, that’s exactly what Liam did last night. Kept crying almost every hour to nurse and every time I would take off my breast from his mouth he would start crying. I was like wth is going on cause it’s not like him.

Definitely consider a routine and stick to it. My son was a great sleeper until 4 months. Now I'm lucky if he sleeps before 10
