Is there any mom’s on here with preemies. N your baby had to get the synagis shot.

I had a 29 weeker and 36 weeker and not i never heard of it

Why are thy giving him this shot for ?

I just looked it up honestly you’re the mom it’s up to you to decide what get injected into him. My daughter survived rsv season with out those shots and now is a healthy almost 3 yr old

How early was he ?

My daughter was a 26 weeker. We got the synagis shot for her first RSV season.

Nope! Plus we got through the season with no issues other than the sniffles. We only gave her this though, no flu shot . She was ineligible the following year for the synagis and ended up hospitalized with RSV. If it were up to me, I'd definitely give the shot. RSV is very scary especially for preemies with lung issues. Of course, do your research or meet with baby's doctor or pulmonologist. Good luck ❤
