Consents are signed and surgery will begin at 7:30am. I have a huge lump in my throat and my heart hurts, but I know we are doing the right thing. I hate the thought of Leo spending his first birthday in the hospital and hate the fact even more so, that we will likely loose yet another Christmas with him! Big brother says it’s not the same without him Home and just wants him to be better. I keep reminding myself that this is only temporary, but for some reason this surgery is causing more anxiety than any of the others. Tomorrow I will just need prayers for peace. Leo is a huge mamas boy and love giving kisses. Sleep well sweet boy!
