Any moms have any information about what may precede labor besides the typical contractions and losing the mucus plug?

I had diarrhea 2 weeks b4 I went into labor and I was nauseas the entire week b4 I went into labor

I've been having sharp pains down there where I feel like I have to close my legs to help it any and my back has started hurting

It can range from anything to nothing. I was veryyyy sleepy. Slept all day and night for the couple weeks before birth. You may get flu like symptoms. You may have a burst of energy. Once you start to dilate and efface your OB should have a decent guess as to when you might labor.
