What should a hospital bag consist of?

Towels. If you'll be washing in the hospital, bring a towel or two you don't care about. The ones at my hospital were so small and not very absorbent.

Big shoes, since your feet will probably swell.

Comfy clothes or a robe that can give quick access for exams or breastfeeding.

Clean clothes to go home in for you, the dad, and the baby.

Snacks if you want. Mouthwash. Toothbrush, paste, maybe face wipes. Mints or lifesavers.

I didn't use half of what I packed, but you can always send someone to get anything you find you may need.

Home outfits, pajamas for you after you have baby, clothes for spouse, baby outfit, charger, hygiene items, comfy shoes, snacks

Bring your own shampoo and conditioner and body wash because the hospitals suck, I bringing my own robe because I'm not wearing the hospital gown, hair brush , deodorant, charger for phone.

I bring night time pads, clothes for you and spouse and baby some clothes tooth brush and paste.
