Alright i need some advice on this friend issue...please!

So i made plans with 2 friends on the same day but at 2 separate times. They aren't friends so i didn't plan on getting them together that day. The day before the plans my daughter was having a really bad day like missed nap, wouldn't listen, cried on and off ALL DAY. Like i even cried cause i was so overwhelmed. So the next day.. i cancel on my first set of plans cause it was during my kids nap and i didn't want a repeat of the day before. So i tell my friend all of this and she's kinda bummed but says okay. Then the time for my second set of plans comes and my kid is well rested and happy so i didn't feel the need to cancel them. Well my friend from my first set of plans claims i was being fake and i should have just cancelled all my plans and i shouldn't let my kid ruin my fun etc etc. Well i didn't feel that i needed to cancel my other plans cause we were doing better after that nap. Was i in the wrong?
