So after the hospital telling me I just have indigestion on Sunday and still being in horrific pain days later the doctors have now confirmed I have gallstones

I had my gallbladder taken out a year ago, due to 14 attacks in 9 weeks from the gallstones, mine was about the burst, and they still didn't catch it, a bloody porter did, because his wife had recently gone through the same!

@laurenjaynebutcher that's not good. I have had 9 outbursts in 4 weeks had an ambulance out twice. Phoned doctors this morning as a doctor didn't ring me back yesterday. They wouldn't give me an appointment they got the triage nurse to phone me and she was like the hospital sent us a note saying all your bloods are clear and urine and they have put you on meds for acid reflux. Then I said well I'm waiting for scan results and she said they are back and you have gall stones. Ended up ringing again at 4pm as been in pain for nearly 48 hours and doctor was so rude but in the end prescribed me painkillers and antibiotics so will see how I get on x

@michellewiggins1985 I went to hospital 12 times as they got so bad and didn't know the cause, they normally do surgery to remove the gallbladder- you don't need it! But if it's not emergency surgery (mine was) you normally have to go through your GP xx

@laurenjaynebutcher I have to see the stupid doctor tomorrow so will discuss the options as the outbursts are so bad and don't wanna be on painkillers forever my sister in law ended up being rushed in for hers and ended up in surgery alot longer than she should have cos it was worse than they thought x

@michellewiggins1985 yeah mine was too, it's not nice! I'm glad they took it out, I only had 1 episode since and it was just a stone they had forgot, since then I've had nothing at all xx

@michellewiggins1985 I did too! The only thing that ever settled mine was morphine and I hated it! Had to be given through the vein too xx

@michellewiggins1985 made me violently sick, and so tired which wasn't good but I was in hospital for most of it, and prefer sick to those pains! Xx
