Is it bad for my almost 6month old son to constantly sleep on his side?

My son has slept on his side forever. As long as he's not getting a flat spot, or could possibly roll over onto something and suffocate he's fine. My child will not sleep on his back at all, unless he's sitting in his carseat. I just let him roll as he pleases
