@caityyy_lynnn, I understand that is why I was saying pump. It’s the best thing to do to save your supply. Pump every two hours. You should look up the infection you have see if if other women have breast fed while having the same thing.

What's the medication? A good person to call to for the future is a lactation consultant. They would be the best person to make sure what you are using is safe. 😉

Breastfeeding with the infection is fine. The list of medications that you can't take while breastfeeding is actually smaller than what many may think. If you said you were breastfeeding and were prescribed something, it's most likely safe. You can also check rxlist online for information on contraindications of breastfeeding on that medication

@blessedmama09, I’m not taking the medicine what so ever. I’m seeing my primary doctor tomorrow to get different medication

@blessedmama09, I told him I was breastfeeding but he didn’t listen because he gave me antibiotics that I can’t take while breastfeeding. So I made an appointment for tomorrow morning to see my primary to ask

I think pump pump pump and ask a doctor before you feed her. You might have to dump it.
