Ladies, are you able to chose if you want to be induced or if you want to go into labor naturally? I…

I was induced with my son because we went past the 40 weeks and there was nothing changing down there. I think the longest you can go is 42 weeks before they will make you be induce due to health reasons for the baby.

Okay with me I have to be induced because I have 6 other kids that I'd have to find a sitter for so going into labor isn't a Option. But I'm being induced at 38 weeks because of low fluid but my doctor don't think I'll last that long so I've arranged already a sitter just in case

I was just informed at my apt today, that I will be induced at least a week early, due to high blood pressure and being in meds, and the fact that I don't get the option to so it naturally saddens me. I'm not sure how I'll feel when I'm closer, lol but right now I wish I could wait it out.
