How long does I take for your supply of milk to increase after not breastfeeding for about a month?! I’ve been drinking water,Mother’s milk, and eating healthy as I can. I’ve been pumping every 15 mins on each breast what else Can I do

Try letting baby nurse instead of pumping. I know pumping doesn’t work for me, my body doesn’t respond to it and my milk just won’t drop but I could smell my baby and my milk would drop... producing milk is about more than just your body responding to the mechanics of suction. Good luck!!

@ecahanes, I’m getting drops every time I pump with is a god outcome better than nothing
jelissa·
@elenalee, I’ve tried that he latched on for 5 mins and that was it.

I️’ve had issues with my supply since my daughter was about a week old, and I️ was never able to get my supply to increase with pumping no matter what else I️ did along with it. I’ve honestly only seen a difference with breastfeeding. My daughter wouldn’t latch on for more than 5 minutes at first either, but I️ just kept trying and now she’ll stay on for about 15-20

@momof3guys, keep it up! Offer it to him before you pump every time... that way if there is milk he will get it first and that will encourage him to keep doing it. It is totally possible to increase your supply after not nursing. My mom adopted my sister when she was 3 days old and that was 5 years after having me and her milk came in and she was able to nurse her like she was hers. She didn’t have a pump. She just kept offering it to her and her milk came in! Our bodies are amazing!!

@melody_momof5, I know I was looking on YouTube and some lactating nurses recommend that and mothers tea. What’s wrong with it?! Is it not healthy I also looked it up on google they say it’s safe
