Tips on not gaining weight during pregnancy? My goal is 15-20 lbs tops and I've already gained nearly 5 and I'm 13 weeks.
@believeinbuddha I don't have morning sickness at all with either pregnancy. With my daughter I gained 40 lbs!
You gain the most weight at first. There's no stopping that first five pounds. But I only gained 6lbs my whole pregnancy all four times. I just ate like I normally would but I had bad nausea the whole time.with all of them so it was difficult for me to put on weight
@zoeysmomma2016, i dont think there is much you can do. My belly was all baby but I gained 43 lbs. I started at 98lbs & i didnt over eat or eat a lot of unhealthy stuff. I guess just eat healthy and walk or run often.
@rola I'm trying not to gain weight. I don't know what things to avoid other than the obvious. And if there are any tips to slow weight gain
My suggestion is, don’t really focus on eating more... Graze on fresh fruits and veggies instead of junk foods... when you crave something, go ahead and have a little of it, then try to figure out what your diet is lacking... with my first I craved biscuits ... I realized I was eating very few grains/carbs, so I enjoyed a few biscuits over a few days and made sure I added more grains to my daily diet, and the craving went away... your body will gain what it needs... after you have the baby, continue eating balanced and you should return to your pre-pregnancy weight in about 6 months or so... breastfeeding and hormones can make you gain and loose weight from week to week... but I’m at 4 months pp and have lost almost all my baby weight! That is what works for me! I’m not a skinny girl by any means... but I am very healthy!
