My almost 8 month old has two teeth finally cutting through on the bottom. Do you think that’s why he has a little rash on his cheeks? He’s also been w a runny nose and sounds a little raspy. 😥😥

@caseysmommy92, really? He has a little cold. I was going to call his doc but I know she’s going to say he can’t take anything

@melinanae well he could have a cold as well. But when my sons is teething he gets the red hot cheeks and small fever with coughing

Sometimes when my son teethes he gets a runny nose, lots of drool so a little rash around his mouth, and sometimes a little cough (also from all the extra saliva, I think) and congestion. He rarely gets a fever but does feel warmer than usual.

@caseysmommy92, yes that’s exactly what I am noticing. I was thinking a cold too but the fact that teeth are coming in has me a little confused lol. Thank you!

@melinanae no prob 😀 u can give him Tylenol if he needs it

We only give him Tylenol or Motrin when we can tell he’s in pain, and when he’s congested badly or runny noise we saline and suckers, and use humidifiers or steamy bathrooms. Sometimes we use the Maty’s or Vick’s baby rub.
