My mil tried telling me I was a lazy, bad, and depressed mom because I was in sweatpants every time she came to pick up my son to watch him, like sorry I don’t feel like squeezing into skinny jeans and putting on makeup when I’m not even leaving the house, cleaning and chasing a child all day 🙄 I hate when people think you should get up and instantly get dressed like can’t I just be comfortable 🙄

Right! My aunt actually cut up my mom's sweat pants when I was like 12 because she thought the same thing. Like seriously, if you're comfortable getting all dressed up to sit around the house go ahead, but I'm not going to waste time, energy, and product by doing my make up and hair for no reason. And I'm not going to dirty up my regular clothes and create more laundry than is necessary. Some people are crazy!
