I think it would actually be easier being a single parent at least then I wouldn't have to do it all by myself I'd have the help from my family rather than being stuck here with such a selfish idiot. Everything I do is for izzy first including not having time to shower more than twice a week if I'm lucky. Once again I've been up all night asked him to do breakfast so I could sleep fuxckers having a shower and sorting himself out guess who's getting breakfast sorted

Wow , I thought I was on my own here . My OH is exactly the same, he moans so much if I go and have a shower, it’s the end of the world if little one cries under his watch. I’m sick of feeling guilty for a having a shower or making myself some lunch. Xx

@mammalinley, I'm the same I like to do most things because I like them done correctly 😂 so I guess I can't really moan but when I do ask him to do something or help or watch Isabella while I clean or get ready they make out like it's such a chore and it's so much work for them to watch the baby for an hour and all he normally does is sit there with the tv on on his phone and moans if Isabella annoys him, try having having her 90% of the day when you don't drive!!xx

@beffgoude he's a brilliant dad when I make him do it he just doesn't realise I've been up.for 3 days with a poorly baby and he's got the day off so help me haha, if I was to just get up and go out he would be more than happy and fine to look after her it's just he doesn't think about it and I'm mamma so I do it but that's how he was brought up so I just need my shout on ;)

@isabellaboo he's great when I ask him to after he's done what he's got to and mostly I do it all because I can't help myself but sometimes he just gets on my wick haha. Clearly different species;)

my mans the same too! I just don't think they think before they do it, ever so often he surprises me though. It's better now Brody's older, when he was a baby I think he was scared to be left with him incase he did something wrong etc as he was so small, once he got bigger he enjoyed him more if that makes sense. hopefully it'll be same case for you xxx

@mammalinley, I think men just assume because we're women and we gave birth we have to do most of the care which is crap!! My oh is the same and it pisses me of so much xx

At What Age Should a Child Make Their Own Breakfast?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
