Are there any moms dealing with endometriosis? How are you dealing with your pain and are you done having kids or trying to have more later on down the road?

@gmartinez31 I haven't had a period in almost 3 mons. I have to wait until I get my period to get another ultrasound so they can see how severe it is. In Aug I had gotten the myosure procedure done that way I can stop the heavy bleeding and also because of the cyst and fibroid that was on my ovary. I just want one more child but Idk if that's going to work out.

@shalahea04 yes majority of the time. See I think my biggest issue is the Adenomyosis though. My uterus feels so huge which causes back and neck pain. It's so heavy.

Honestly I have so much going on I wouldn't be able to pin point which disease is the cause. I'm looking forward to get more answers from a specialist.

I was seeing an excellent reproductive endocrinologist for about a year but now I have my baby so that's accomplished. He told me the pain would come back after pregnancy especially if I'm not breast feeding.

I'm always in funk because of the pain. My body is just out of wack and I feel it.

@gmartinez31 thank you! I didn't think endometriosis was this serious. Boy was I wrong for not thinking of the severity it has on us females.

@gmartinez31 I see progesterone is used for so many things. You were on it your whole pregnacy?

I have endometriosis, Adenomyosis, and pcos. I had a laparoscopy where endo was removed from my left ovary and my right tube was repaired also due to damage from the endo. I was able to conceive the following month and carry to full term.

Adenomyosis is suspected for me. Its a disease of the uterus similar to endo with all the same symptoms. It makes the uterus spongy and boggy. It's not something that can be diagnosed unless a hysterectomy is done and a biopsy of the inside of the uterus is done.

I gave birth a month ago and am already experiencing all the same symptoms from before. My lower abdomen is severly bloated and heavy. Sex is very painful and really non existent in my relationship. Hoping to find a good doctor soon and seriously considering a hysterectomy as I am done having children. For now I take 1 or 2 Aleve a day. I also work out and try to eat right to avoid weight and depression issues.

Hope You find some kind of resolution for your endo. Your not alone.

I will. I feel so lost about it. Not really knowing what was going on until now. I also had fibroids this summer.

You're welcome(: I also read that you can go years before you start showing symptoms. It's really scary because it can cause other health issues like depression, anxiety, weight gain, cancer, infertility, fatigue, pain during urination, sex, bowl movements. The list goes on :( if you ever need to talk you can always message me

@bethnimon thank you so much for helping me understand this. I know everyone's story is different. Mines developed when I was teen but it never got this bad til now.

It was a laparoscopy. They go in and remove scar tissue and free up your uterus enough to get pregnant but it comes back. I've done a lot of research on this. Once you have endometriosis it never goes away. You might lose symptoms but it will always be there unfortunately.

@bethnimon what type of surgery?? My doctor is trying to at least get me to have a period right now. I'm on progesterone until I get one

Yes they did. I had surgery to free up my uterus so I could get pregnant. Apparently I'm a hot mess on the inside.

@bethnimon your doctor had suggested the hysterectomy??

I have it. I just had my last baby and having a hysterectomy. I honestly just deal with the pain. I hate pain meds. I wish I could have more kids but they tied my tubes so I wouldn't get pregnant before my hysterectomy.
