How long did it take you ladies to recover from a vaginal birth... I had a second degree tear so I’m…

I had a second degree and I felt about 100% at around 6/7 weeks

After about 3 days

I had 2nd degree as well..it took about 6/7 weeks for me just like @mommaofjais mentioned to be 100%

@ftm_0223, I was hoping it would be earlier lol I’m in so much pain!

@alyssa_hoffmaster pain wise , it was only a week. I was referring to the healing , stiches, etc..but pain wise , yeah that went away within a week for me.

Sorry thought I replied! But the spray they give at the hospital works wonders! Dk if you use that ...

@ftm_0223, ya I’ve been using that, I’ve been trying everything! I’m going to call the doctors because I don’t think I’m supposed to be in this much pain still... the pain meds do nothing

It took me a few weeks to heal enough to where it didn't hurt to stand or sit. I had a bad tear too

@alyssa_hoffmaster yeah I was miserable for at least two or three weeks not able to move without severe pain. Do you have the witch hazel pads and the numbing spray from the hospital?
