So I went to the bathroom a while ago. And she’s stretching. Usually when she does this it means I have to pee but I don’t and it feels like contractions but they last for like 5 seconds so idk if this is Braxton hicks or the real deal and I’ve already called and asked and they said “if you have to ask that then it’s usually fake contraction”. Ugh!!! That seriously does not help me

When I was in the hospital about two weeks ago the doctor said I was actually having contractions but they were every 15-20 minutes but the only ones I could feel were down low. Which is why I’m getting confused
It continued while standing and walking and it felt like it was switching sides and it’s right above the pelvis bone
It’s true, if you have to ask it’s not real. I wasn’t sure about my Braxton Hicks until I had to go to l&d for a numb belly button and was having “contractions”. Once I was IN labor I knew for sure I was and there was no doubt about it.
If you think you're having them, try drinking some water or taking a warm shower. If they don't go away after I would go in if they're close enough. I was induced so I knew when I was having contractions, but I honestly couldn't feel every one so when people say you'll know, I would have only known when it got close to the end of laboring. Everyone's pain tolerance is different. So if you think you might be, just go in
