Met my midwife for the first time yesterday. I’m almost 11 weeks and our little squirrels bpm was 188(: she said if I wait 5 weeks to schedule my next appt instead of 4, we can find out gender ! Dec 12 we will know if this squirrel has little nuts or not! 💕

@jlawrence62317 - that is really awesome! Congrats on your marriage. :) And yeah, my husband has 3 other kids, all of which were home births. So he had to walk me through everything. Lol.
@jlawrence62317 - yeah, that sounds like a hospital. So ridiculous! They should respect us mothers. We're the ones who has to do the hard part.
@koawafamily2016, oh how sweet! I actually just got married this last June and that was the day (: this is my husbands first so he’s very nervous. Lol
@jlawrence62317 - Can I ask what the 62317 is? The reason I ask is, because my oldest son was born on 6/23/11 :)
@koawafamily2016, I’m very excited. I made it to an 8 with my first and 7 with my second and then the hospital staff “had a chat” with me and because I was so young I broke down scared and gave in.
@jlawrence62317 it is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT experience! You will LOVE it!
@koawafamily2016, yeah I had two hospital births and they were awful with the pushy crap. This would be my first natural

Just be careful, hospital personal have a hard time giving women the freedom and patience to have a natural birth. They are very pushy to get their patients in and out, as quickly as possible. So crazy how selfish they could be. I learned that through experiences.
@koawafamily2016, see and I desperately want too, but? My husband isn’t fully comfortable with? So if he wants me to be in a hospital, I’m fine with that as long as it’s natural lol
@jlawrence62317- that's awesome!! I had a home birth with my second child. And it was the BEST decision I made in my entire life! I can NOT imagine going back into a hospital to do the very thing we were created to do- give birth. :)
@koawafamily2016, why did you say “midwife”?
@koawafamily2016, I wanted too but our living situation isn’t ideal. We’re looking into birthing centers but we’re open to a natural hospital birth if they can do water birthing and what not.
You said, "midwife" so I'm curious, are you planning a home birth?
