Contractions are the worst part. I didn't think the actually birthing hurt but my contractions were no joke. I was also induced so the medication made it worse lol

I had a very good experience! While waiting for the contraction to start for my last push I was joking with my husband and doctor about how I needed a burger😂 Only 3 pushes and baby girl was out. Oh and the epidural made everything a million times better!! It’s really not as bad as society makes it out to be. I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat!!

So what are contractions like? I’ve heard ppl say it’s not that bad.

Contractions are like SEVERE period cramps. When I had preterm labor contractions they intensified when they would check my cervix for dilation. But when labor actually came 5 weeks later, my water broke and they gave me Pitocin to induce the contractions weren’t as bad in MY experience. But they were able to give me an epidural so that also took whatever pain I had away 🤷🏼‍♀️
