How hard is it switching dr's so late in the pregnancy? Im 34 weeks now and we moved to alabama when i was 28 weeks and switched to a dr here but the dr doesnt pay attention at our appointments. He told us that there is something wrong without son's left kidney and would need to be looked at after he is born and we had many questions for him unrelated to the birth defect but he was so engrossed in his computer that he didn't even hear us to answer any of the questions. Does anyone live in birmingham AL and do you know anything about st. Vincent's hospital for maternity and birthing...? HELP!

My sister was high risk and switched at like 6m. I guess it depends on the doctor. You can call around and ask if they'll take you so late.

A lot of doctors won’t take people so far along due to liability! However since I’m sure you have your records and your situation is different because of moving you shouldn’t have a hard time! Just call around and see!

As we laid our precious baby boy down to sleep, our hearts ached. We still have questions and don't understand why this happened to our sweet innocent baby boy. What we do know is one thing. We are LOVED! God has surrounded us with gentle hands of comfort to help us get through such a hard time in our lives. We couldn't be anymore grateful for the friends and family we have. Baby Dakota is safe and sound in the arms of our Heavenly Father. He had a purpose so great that we can't even begin wrap our heads around it. My husband and I are just so thankful for the love and support. 8.4.15 💙
