How many times do you breastfeeding mommies pump a day? And night?
@briimoe, I use boobease lol I sent my hubby to buy me a cream for sore nips and he came back with that 😋
I also get why women get discouraged about their little ones not latching on so they go to formula . It’s sad and we all want to be good mothers and give them the best.
@sakura-chan, lol what’s that? I just use the Medela nipple cream lol
Your boy is gunna be strong lol I love that you still give him breast milk cuz I know a lot of people who’s babies didn’t latch and they just went straight to formula
@briimoe, You doing good mama ,As long as she’s happy .😊
Girl my nips are sorreeeeeeeee🙃 but my baby boy gotta be buff 💪🏻 lol
There’s treatment for sore nips tho (if you didn’t know)
@sakura-chan, lol thank you! That’s what I’m going to do and it seems like it’s working. And baby girl gets full either way she eats (: lol and yes it does hurt but it’s worth it for sure (:
@briimoe, just keep feeding her and pumping
Your milk will come don’t worry
And you don’t NEED a schedule plus I know pumping can hurt too so just try to do it as much as YOU can.
@sakura-chan, @sakura-chan, yeah I feel like breastfeeding isn’t the only way to bond with your baby lol specially if your still doing skin to skin lol but ummm well like I said I don’t have a schedule... but I’m pumping now which is my third time today and I’m pump at least twice at night and feed her in between. Even if she gets a bottle and I pump I still give her my boob because she wants it after even if there isn’t really any milk in them lol but sometimes I can feel my boobs dropping milk when she’s on them even after I’ve pumped. So either way I just try to keep milk coming out of them and she gets fed from me or the bottle lol. Idk if that makes sense 😂😂
@briimoe, it’s what my lactation consultant told me when I had to stop breastfeeding after 2 weeks and was trying to get my son off formula and bottles so
@briimoe, I am happy he still gets to drink mommy milk
They say you bond him them more that way but Im with him 24/7 so we bonding on the daily haha
how many times do you pump & breastfed ?
@sakura-chan, that’s ok tho! Because at least your baby is getting breast milk(: that’s all that matters! Yeah I’m a believer of that too! I never thought pumping was an “issue” lmao but people have their own opinions and beliefs. I pump and feed I just don’t pump on a schedule and was wondering if anyone out there is on a schedule and has made more milk from it lol
@noahs.mommy, I pump so I can make more milk. I pump and breast feed. Also when I go back to work I want to have milk for her at home. So I do both.
@briimoe, why do you want to pump? If you want to breastfeed from your breast pumping can affect your supply some times so if you pump and directly breastfeed she probably won’t get as much as she is getting now and that can cause problems with her not getting full enough
I’m getting 2-3 oz each breast .
My son unfortunately doesn’t latch on so that’s why I had to consider pumping.
Sad but it is what it is 🙃
The more you pump the more milk your body will make .
@sakura-chan, do you feed the baby from your breast as well? Or just pump?
@sakura-chan, lol that sounds like a good find!!!! I might have to try it!
Yeah I mean I don’t think what you feed your baby makes you a bad mom at all. Lol I feel like if your doing whatever you can for your baby makes you a great mom ☺️ with my first child I had to put him on formula when he was 6 months because he started losing weight because I wasn’t making enough milk for him.. and with me being a first time mom I thought “welp that’s it. No more breast milk” but if I would have known that I could give him both I would have. If he wouldn’t have latched I would have went straight to formula too, not knowing I could just pump and give it to him like you do. Lol I think that is awesome! That’s why I love this app because I learn so much that I literally did not know
