I know everyone’s telling me not to stock up on newborn clothes bc they outgrow them quick but how many newborn outfits…

I’m going threw the same thing and honestly I’m going with a few of everything not overduing it with outfits but make sure he’s comftable and easy for me to change him. But Because he’ll be born in the winter I’ll get more long sleeve onesizes/ & sleepyjamies(6-9each).. wintery stuff. Common sence things that’ll get dirty

@lnkedupmommy, thanks! I’m definitely doing that I just feel so overwhelmed I’ve already gotten her some onesies & wintery clothes & everyone’s like stop buying her newborn clothes!! I’m like well she’s going to need clothes 😫😥😂

I would say get a good supply of newborn 0-3 especially onesies but focus more on stocking up in clothes going up in age , 6-9, 9-12 etc. Babies do grow fast. I started my girl and boy in newbie and they both were chunky babies who were as lways one step ahead in size. At 2 months my girl was already in 3-6 and same for my son.

Every child is different but I say play it safe and stock up

And it's not just for growth. Babies spit up, burp, poop a lot. Things could get messy. It's nice to have extra onesies and outfits for your baby to change into when these accidents happen instead of having to do laundry every day

I didn't buy any new born clothes because my mil told me constantly it was a waste of money and I wouldn't need them... My son wore new born clothes for over 3 months lol 0-3 was HUGE on him. I'd stock up

Yeah you do need newborn things lol but don’t over due it just think about it it’s only two months lol; if anything go with sizes 0/3 and 3/6 months. Lil of everything.

My son didn't even fit any when he came out. I would buy maybe one

I brought a newborn outfit and a 0-3 month outfit. Plenty of white short and long sleeved onsies for each stage bc they get dirty fast and for winter long sleeved zip up sleepers are heaven sent. Also receiving blankets make awesome burp clothes!

It all depends. I have small babies and My son was in newborns for like 2 or 3 months. And then shot through the rest and grew super quick until he reach 12 months and stayed in those for like 2 months. Pretty much skipped through 18m and now wears 2t

I've never bought newborn clothes.

I've gotten probably about 5 or 6 newborn outfits I'm waiting to see how big he his when he comes to see if ill need more.

I had about 3 pajamas and 2 outfits in size newborn. Everything else was 0-3
