Going on 38 weeks and my cervix is doing nothing and the one Cm I was dilated closed back up.. Babys head down but too…

@juliaschade41 I don't know how people can do it with no pain meds.. Just the cramping the the baby moving the last few days have made me cry and curl up and not be able to move lol I give people props. And you shouldn't have any shame!

@slewis1526 the epidural feels like a whole lot of pressure but even through the contractions, you have to sit still! It is hard before it starts to work but you have to sit completely still.

@slewis1526 yes girl, like I said i had to get it at 3cm and I had no shame! I don't know how some women go higher than that lol

@juliaschade41 Thank you for telling me all this... My anxiety has been horrid and I'm definitely getting the epidural lol

@slewis1526 i didn't even feel the doc breaking my water. Lol I had the epidural beforehand so you don't feel a thing! You hear a tiny click and then just gushes of water flowing out. Then they put the catheter in, but you don't feel that either.😊 epidural saves lives lmao

@juliaschade41 it sounds like such a scary process.. Idk why but the thought of them breaking my water makes me nauseous..but I'm glad u didn't get an infection or have to get a c section

@slewis1526 Pitocen is what they give you through an iv to start contractions and i heard they are worse than natural ones, cuz they're forcing them to happen. I lasted to 3cm and had to get the epidural lol but after that it was good. I almost had to get a c section cuz I wasn't progressing fast enough. The doc broke my water 19 hours before i had her. Luckily I didn't get an infection up in there. I was waiting to get to 10cm for 28 hours, but it finally happened and no c section!

This was the day right before I had her. Granted I was induced, but girl I wasn't dropping a bit and this pic i was almost 40 weeks. Some women don't drop, but that doesn't mean you can't suddenly go into labor.
